On Sunday 15 June the Sunshine Coast Jazz Club is excited to present the Jindalee Jazz Orchestra – 19 Piece Big Band. The Jindalee Jazz Orchestra are a community based big band in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane that has been performing for over 15 years. Starting as a place for enthusiastic music teachers to share their love of jazz, it has evolved into one of the city’s most dynamic jazz ensembles. Our repertoire ranges from traditional big band swing, contemporary jazz, Latin, funk, rock and pop. The band regularly plays at venues across the southeast including the Brisbane Jazz Club, Toowoomba Jazz Club, Bands in the Park, Government House and many private functions.
Currently the band are very fortunate to work with the wonderful vocalist Victoria Luppi, who has performed around Brisbane in the jazz and musical theatre scene for many years.
Please join us for a special afternoon where you will be entertained by a very talented, gifted and diverse group of musicians!
Doors open at 12.00 (Noon) and the show starts at 13.00 at the Pelican Room, Caloundra Power Boat Club, 2 Lamerough Parade, Golden Beach.
Ticket prices are: Members $22.50; Seniors $25.00; Non-members $27.50
