Nicole Parker Brown on vocals will be supported by all the Jazz Kings - Col Atkinson bass & vocals, Rod Ford drums & vocals, Peter Uppman vocals & trumpet, Gordon Matheson guitar and John Conley doubt bass & bass guitar.
The Jazz Kings are now recognised as one of the most sought after jazz bands on the Gold Coast and beyond and have just finished recording their first CD Out of Nowhere released in December 2020 (and already has had airplay many times on Brisbane radio stations). Although formed in 2017, each member has decades of professional experience in all aspects of the music industry as performers, entertainers, recording artists, teachers, backing/support to local, national and major stars, floorshows, and also in television, radio and media.
Although jazz is their main genre, they can also swing, play the blues and before COVID had everyone up dancing with rockabilly and country music so they are a very versatile band. Their repertoire is very much based on what the venue and audience want – they can play thousands of tunes from trad to modern and popular jazz, jump blues and swing, and as described above just about any genre that is popular. This will be an afternoon full of entertainment.
Tickets must be booked and paid for in advance. You can do this by ONE of the following options:
