SEPTEMBER 2026 – TROMBONE KELLIE & THE GANG

After a 3 plus hour drive from the Northern Rivers The Trombone Kellie Gang could have been excused for a warmup start to their performance. Not this GANG.!!

Bang into it right from the opening “I Ain't Got You”. Pete took over with his “Bad Case of Love” and Lonely Avenue”. A reminder of the giant Elvis, with “You Ain’t Nothing but a Hound Dog” ….no holding KELLIE. She was into the music with her great gut-wrenching Trombone and vocals. The GANG strutted their music with Fat's “Honeysuckle Rose” and “Goody Goody”.

A great group instrumental “Morning T Jump” had the audience tapping & rocking. Lots of applause.!! A lovely “Nadine” from Peter on guitar and how about that slap bass from Justin. He is the best. Rod the drummer man who also sings a great style did just that with “High Heel Sneakers”.

Kellie always to the forefront kept the Gang swinging & swaying & the audience who were just lappin' up all this non-stop music. Ella's “Basin Street Blues” was given a well-deserved applause. Finish time approaching, so finish with a couple of big ones.

Yep, THE TROMBONE KELLIE GANG did just that “Flip Flop & Fly” and “Fracking Well Trouble” did the trick for the crowd. Do groups ever receive a double applause!! Well, THE TROMBONE KELLIE GANG did receive a well-deserved double.
